Caught the first half of A Serious Man saturday, but got interupted due to the fact my landlord gave me 45 minutes notice that his realtor was showing the house. I enjoyed what I saw and will hopefully finish it up soon.

both of these movies were great. i just saw FMF last night, but was busy with school work so i couldn't really pay attention. i loved the message they presented in a serious man, even though it's depressing to think about. i wish netflix would just make the shift to putting their entire catalog onto instant stream. it'd save them a lot of money, and in turn save us money, keep a lot of their cliental from waiting a week for a movie and most importantly save people from having to use their DVD players.

let's start a letter writing campaign guys

I can't see that happening. I would really like to see them merge with Hulu.

Recently I've seen some commercials for Blockbuster and they're basically mimicking the Netflix business model. Don't call it a come back.

Also, I have heard in the past that Netflix is supposed to put their entire catalouge up for streaming by next year (2011), but we'll see if that shit actually happens or not. One could also venture to think that the recent raise in fees would indicate the full catalouge streaming capability would be right around the corner. Like I said, whether happens or not remains to be seen.

Speaking of Netflix, did anyone see this?

I watched Let The Right One In. There was some American remake in theaters a few weeks back, but the original is Scandinavian and really fucking good. I also watched half of Brick, which I've seen before, but the girlfriend fell asleep, so I stopped. Tomorrow I hope to finish A Serious Man and to also watch Sita & Her Sisters.

recently watched Leap Year... eh, chick flick, but was still entertaining primarily due to the fact that Amy Adams is a total babe.

I've watched a ton of movies lately, but I'll mentioned Being There, which was awesome. Black Swan, really heavy. Easy A, just as good as when I saw it in theaters.

I just watched the Back to the Future trilogy yesterday. Unless you're Matt Barr, you know how awesome that is.

I also saw True Grit in theaters. Awesome movie. Highly recommended.

The Hangover (because it was on), Wonder Boys, Spider Man 2 (same as The Hangover), 3 Ninjas, and Footloose. That's all in the last two days. I'll probably watch another tonight.

I watched all four Rambo movies in a 24 hour period. I've also seen recently:

True Grit
Salt
The Tourist
Easy A

And... I think that may be it.

Dinner for Schmucks: Kind of good, really awkward comedy, funny strange.

Crazyheart: godamn it, why did it take me so long to watch this movie? This movie was bad ass. Bad seemed like a cross between Waylon, Hank Jr, and Kristopherson, and I love me some outlaw country.

T2 might be one of the best movies ever made. I was pretty much the same way, I'd get so pumped when he'd jump the motorcycle. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!
