Even though some of the former members are probably embarrassed by this, I really dug the band Aislynn. New Martinsville / Wheeling band around 2002-2003? future members of Librarians and As Patient Stars Align / former members of Klopek's Furnace. Kind of cheesy thick guitar / synth stuff in vein of early Coheed & Cambria or Mae.

Orien played bass for Klopek's Furnace after Alex quit and guitar in Aislynn. No one from The Failers was in Aislynn, I'm a moron.

HOLLLLLYYYY FUCK am i sad that i was born when i was. seeing videos of lincoln from like '93 and knowing that killed at camp played its last show before i turned like 11 years old is really shitty. it feels like things were way different back in the day, something i have yet to experience in my 7-8 years of going to shows and caring about music is the type of genuine sense of uniqueness and refreshment that seemed to be happening back then. that soft rock renegade blog has a lot of great stuff in it. someone posted the link in here a little while back, so if you haven't checked it out yet, you should.

it honestly feels like if it were the early 90s i would have no desire to leave west virginia(my desire is fucking raging as we speak). i wanna meet jay demko and give him an hj or sumpin

yeah i was. also, that's the big gripe with anakuklosis? i finally gave enough of a shit to listen to it and the first 5 or so songs are amazing. the drums are so intense!

I only really like the last two tracks on that album.
