Battle of The Bands - May 1st

King Peacock - Way different. Only bass and drums, but it sounded okay. Wasn't a BIG fan or it but it was okay.

Redunko - The guy doing vocals cracks me up everytime they play.It was very entertaining to watch, to say the least/

New Clear Future? - I think that's what the name of the band was. They were really good and I liked them. It's cool to hear some straight punk coming from WV.

Talk Is Cheap - I love this band, and they were pretty great. I think they are going to get pretty big pretty fast.

Pool Party - FUCKING BEACH BALLS. NUFF SAID.

Heart Holds True - I think this was the best I've seen them. It might just be because they had Homefield Advantage (HA!) being from Huntington, but they sounded good, Dana had really great stage presence (even though he was standing on the floor for the most part), and it was amazing.

Get Real - They're okay. I really didn't watch too much of their set. It was too fucking hot in that building and I had to stay outside.

Towers of Veritas - I like them, but they just get old after a while. Hate moshed for fun though.

Waking Lions - Eh. Didn't like them that much.

Missing In Maryland - I can't get into them. I don't like their music. Cool guys, just not diggin' it.

Missing in Maryland apparently only plays BOTBs.

I also hate them with a burning passion.

They sound like unprofessional idiots between songs as well.

I didn't hear most of the bands announce who they were, which killed me.

Pool Party - The beach balls ruled. That's such a good idea to get everyone excited and involved.

Heart Holds True - A couple of odd things happened while we were playing, but they were our fault. Hopefully no one took too much notice to it. I think we could've played better, but it was a lot of fun either way.

Get Real - I think that's who it was... Good times.

Talk Is Cheap - What little I saw of them was incredibly good. I'm predicting that they'll be doing some huge stuff if they stick with it, plus they're awesome dudes. I hope we get to play a lot more shows with them.

That Get Real band reallyyyy needs to change their name, unless they sound exactly like...

Very well known. They were real big in the earlier 2000s, but they just played that Floorpunch "last show" a couple months ago. So technically they're still around.

Yeah, that band needs to change their name.

ALSO not doing a review, but Missing In Maryland got a really bad score apparently. AND one of the judges wrote "SLIPKNOT" on their score card.
