Slaughterhog-watched a few minutes, couldn't take it anymore. went outside.

Amish Electric Chair-this band is not anything special, watched about half the set. Anti-Flag style stuff, the bass was so annoying.

Ringworm-awesome set, really like this band. Played Dollar Whore, Justice Replaced By Revenge, and Numb/Blind To Faith, all the songs I wanted to hear. the crowd sucked.

I left after Ringworm, to much for me.

Terrible crowd at a Skeletonwitch show in Athens? Get the fuck outta here!

sorry jacob, but that's a modest mouse cover band that's playing. it's a "tribute" show

Slaughter Hod. Band of the night. Best band I've ever heard. Words simply cannot describe how... AWESOME they were.

Amish Electric Chair. Couldn't see anything, Sava's ego was in the way.

Ringworm. Played forever.

Skeletonwitch. Riffs.

Crowd was terrible, but I expected that after last time. I don't know if I'll go next time they play in Athens, the people that come out are really just that awful.

Slaughterhog - *fart*

Amish Electric Chair - Most important band in the history of punk rock

Ringworm - This set was madness

Skeletonwitch - I think the new Skeletonwitch crowd has reached a point where it's almost unbearable to watch the whole set. It's a real bummer because I really like this band.

Slaughterhog - Wanted to slaughter myself, went outside.

Amish Electric Chair - First time ever hearing this band, they sounded just like Anti-Flag. Boring.

Ringworm - FUUUUUUUCKING MOSH. They killed it. And they all seemed like really nice dudes too. Only complaint is that they didn't play God Eat God.

Left after Ringworm, I also could not handle the number of Skeletonwitch t-shirts in that room.

Pros:
- Got a Ringworm patch for my jacket
- Making new friends Cool
- Still got some stagedives in despite the awful crowd.

Cons:
- Worst crowd.
- Worst crowd.
- Worst crowd.
- Drunk bros.
- Worst crowd.
- Push mosh.
- Ringworm not having any size small shirts.

Slaughterhog - more like slaughterSUCK

Amish Electric Chair - "State of the Union" is the only song by them that I find exceptional. Other than that, as stated in this review, it's all too Anti-Flag and insert any other punk band in my book. They didn't play a long set this time, but there's still this air of attitude I get from this band that irks me - despite having a friend who's a member in it.

Ringworm - I didn't think this set was long at all, but I also know a lot of the songs. From where I was standing everything was great. Sounded great, really got the crowd riled up, they certainly made some people in the crowd convert. Ray looked like a kid on Christmas Day. Human Furnace said the band "had a blast last night." I witnessed one fight break out and that's it.

Skeletonwitch - Found a great spot to stand in and stood there the whole set. Yeah, it was pretty long, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. They were super pumped to be playing at home. I really liked the band's new album, and I glowed over the fact that they played most of it. The set was theatrical - getting completely blinded by the fog machine never ceases to amaze me! Wish some of you guys stuck around for their set, just forget the fans and enjoy the 'Witch for god sakes.

Branka was windmill handbanging during Skeletonwitch and somehow completely wrapped her hair around a mic stand. She had a hard time unwinding it and me and a couple high schoolers behind me couldn't help but laugh ourselves to tears! She was mortified, poor girl.

If you were standing where some of us were, you would understand how that wasn't a possibility.

Slaughterhog - yep. Best band ever!
Amish Electric Chair - First time seeing them, I was alright with them, but I'll probably never make it a point to see them again. Stood in the back for their set.
Ringworm - Moved up for this one. I've always thought at some shows that the crowd makes for a better show than listening to the music. This was the case for me. I couldn't really tell what was happening and everything was kinda...the same. Bonus points for seeing two fights!
Witch - I don't give a fuck. First time seeing them, and they were metal as fuck. If that big smelly lumox asshole in front of me hadn't been there it would've been one of the best times ever.

...after reading all of the comparisons to Anti Flag, I realize that I probably should've gone to this.. considering I'm the only person on this board (besides Pat Stump) that still listens to Anti Flag.

Even if you like Anti-Flag, AEC is no good.

I love the fuck out of Anti-Flag. I think I've only seen AEC once, but I liked them. If it was in fact them that I was watching.

Pat, what do you say we go see Anti Flag in Pittsburgh?

Depends on when, where, and who else is playing. I haven't been into Anti-Flags last.... two albums? I'm not sure. Anything after Terror State. But really it depends on when. I'd probably be down.

So, I must disagree with you guys. I'm listening to Amish Electric Chair right now and I'm pretty impressed. This probably isn't a surprise since I'm a huge Anti-Flag fan. The recordings sound great, but I guess you guys can say differently about them since you've seen them live.

Yoibomb

They're also total dickwads, that has a bit to do with it.
