Reignition show help - 3/11 (ffo: Burn, Snapcase, etc.)

Hey, what's up? We're doing a tour in March and we're trying to get a show in WV on March 11. Can anyone on here help us out? We can return the favor with shows in PA.

wish i had more connects so i could help. i know most of this board focuses on house shows and stuff from what ive seen at least, but i could try to talk to my friend dave to see if its possible to get you dudes on at 123 pleasant st in morgantown. i dont think hes done any booking there personally but he knows dudes that have. itll be a long shot and i can almost guarantee it wont work out, but ill try anyway

how dead set on the march 11th date are you guys? cause i just looked at their site and its booked that night for some cd release show

ah, i understand. i just emailed LJ (the dude that does the booking at 123) so we'll see what he says. theres only two bands scheduled for that night though. do you guys have a guarantee or are you like me and are just happy to get 6 DRINK TICKETSSSSSSS?

LJ never replies to emails unless it's from a select group of no more than 5 people, and it's literally impossible to get a show there unless it's very obvious that he will make money off of it. i.e. a relatively well known band that kids who don't know what punk rock is/was that uses a lot of reverb.

i wish it was 2000 again, sigh. who is that shitty dude who does stuff at the brickhouse? stay away from him. jacob, book this band.

i really, really wish I could. These dudes are so good. I just have nowhere to book shows at, and booking shows at The Brickhouse for me is way to far away. Sorry guys.

It's not even like I was trying to get them their own show either. I was trying to get them on a show that was already booked. Granted it was a CD release party, but still only two bands were booked, so I figured there'd at least be room for one more. But, no, LJ hasn't gotten back to me, and I doubt he will. I really hate the Morgantown scene anymore, but it sucks because they have the best venue in the state (ignoring how shitty it is to book bands there and all that stuff).

What about 604 Arlington in Morgantown? They just had a show recently.

also, to the guy who told me to fuck off. i was basing that on a bunch of shit that was posted on here from the b9, AND a huge thread on this very board a while back about some dude who like, promotes shows before they're confirmed or just like, doesn't promote. guy sounds like he books shows like a fucking dickhead.

I didn't mean any offense to you or anyone else, dude has put on some major shows that went off awesome and he has one bad show and that's all anyone talks about. We've all booked a show that's gone bad, but we had the benefit of not having douchebags like the dude from Soul Control to publicize it.
