yeah, saw his the other night. did/do any of you guys like them crooked vultures? i'd only ever heard them from that SNL performance, and it just sounded incoherent to me.

Rather than focusing on making a cohesive sound, it seems like every member of the band is trying to outshine the every other member of the band and it just turns into a giant clusterfuck. It's like free jazz without all that "talent" stuff. It also doesn't help that they have Josh Homme and apparently I don't really "get" anything that he ever does.

Awesome skit was awesome, first time SNL has really made me laugh in a long time.

i actually like them crooked stupid ass band name. it really is just another homme project and they all kinda run into each other as far as the sound goes, but theres a few pretty good songs on that album
