Just came out. It's so freaking good. If anyone likes melancholy folk/country, check this out.

They're pop punk. A little more poppy than most stuff you like though, but New Found Glory poppy. Check them out though. You might dig them.

a musical tribute to shel silverstein - this is really great. sometimes it gets alittle too country, but it's alright. features andrew bird, john prine, bobby bare, jr, and black francis...

bought the new band of horses and dr. dog cd's as well.. band of horses is good, more of the same, but i like that same so no real complaints. loving the dr. dog cd. highly recommend if you're into wilco-ish, the band-ish things

also, without a doubt, "christie road" by green day is probably the best song ever written. so there's that.

listened to the new state lottery lp.. enjoyed that. need to listen to it more, but i think i like it better than the first

You're welcome. Glad you like them! I think the album work is a joke, maybe? I hope so.

2004-2006 era social junk - if yr from WV and have never heard this band, change that you dummy.

'69-'73 era rolling stones - it's been a year and i'm still on this kick. HOW WILL IT END?!

lazy magnet - is music even good? - so bummed this guy started concentrating on other stuff. one of the most diverse, straight killer acts i've ever seen. check his shit out!

daughters - s/t - going through my second stint on this album, and it hold up really well. sucks they broke up, but it leaves something to the imagination. it sounds like the jesus lizard on LSD and meth, as opposed to just meth. pitch shifters everywhere, awkward time signatures, piercing vocals that seem to fuzz their way right into yr chest... this album has got it.
