there are plenty of people who have been into hardcore for a while, and will continue to be a part of it for a while

the only kids who were really making want to write that rant were the kids who got into hardcore about 10 months ago, and act like its the end all, be all way of life

none of those kids were into anything more than a trend

its true, idc if why you go to shows
im glad you're going, and supporting local music

but you go and talk shit, acting like you're some god of the scene, when you're talking about other people just like you, or worse yet, talking about the guy who should be considered the god of the scene

now i dont know who it was, nor do i care, but why in the hell would you talk shit about david? he has done more for local music than anyone in wv

he kept the brickhouse open when he could have more easily have just said fuck it, and let the last venue we had shut down for good. he books over half the shows you go to. he spends money out of his own pocket to pay for the lease. and i could go on.

its shit like that that gets to me.
kids who dont give a fuck, and run their mouths

Im just a bachelor
Im looking for a partner
Someone who knows how to ride
Without even falling off
Gotta be compatible takes me to my limits
Girl when I break you off
I promise that you wont want to get off

If youre horny lets do it
Ride it my pony
My saddles waiting
Come and jump on it

If youre horny lets do it
Ride it my pony
My saddles waiting
Come and jump on it

Sitting here flossing
Peepin your steelo
Just once if I have the chance
The things I will do to you
You and your body
Every single portion
Send chills up and down your spine
Juices flowing down your thigh

I'm working for an hourly wage
I went to high school, didn't do great
Still I gotta make more cash
More education is what I'm looking at
When I get a degree I will make a bigger salary

So now I got to see

Which college is right for me
I went on the internet and found Education Con-nec-tion
I took some free tests to find out my direction
I'm taking my classes online gettin my degree on my on time
Education Connection matched me with the right college - for free

quit bitching haha

take my advice, bitching about shit isn't going to do anything.

i'm done talking shit and even going to a lot of shows like i use to

i don't feel like driving far to hang around people that don't like me

i'll go to a good show every once and a while, but other than that fuck it.

i'd rather hang out at a frat then at shows anymore

peace

that sucks man. don't let stupid shit ruin it. there was a good while where i would go to every show at the brickhouse and some ywca shows by myself because the people i normally went with pretty much stopped going because of other kids, which i think is dumb. it sucked going alone (at that point i was just awkwardly acquainted with everyone), but once the bands started playing all of the dumb "scene" problems are easily disregarded.

all the dumb scene shenanigans is easily outweighed by live music, and in the long run it's worth putting up with it. you always looked like one of the few people that actually had fun, enjoyed yourself, moshed, and came out pretty regularly. it'll suck to have one less kid like that.

i'm not trying to start shit, disrespect you, or tell you what to do or anything, so hopefully it won't be taken that way.

i just wish we had a more accessible venue to the kids that came out from huntington and parkersburg, which is about 95% of all the kids at hardcore shows.

If you're coming tomorrow, we are definitely going to have another sing-along, but it won't be LIT this time... instead it will be the Education Connection jingle, deal?

I second Mike T on this, don't let stupid shit keep you away. If any more sincere kids stop coming to shows the whole scene will die.

Unfortunately I have to work till close, so I probably won't be able to make it. But next time we meet, we'll inform everyone of the connection.
